To View a Plastic Flower
February 13 – April 19, 2020
Featured new works by Abigail Raphael Collins, T. Kim-Trang Tran and Samira Yamin, To View a Plastic Flower explores themes of interconnectivity, perspectivism, and the poetics (as well as politics) of conflict. The exhibition takes the format of three discrete installations framed by each artist's point of view. Through this format, and the implications of mass media, each work registers the presence and absence of information to enact a theater of mediated engagement set within our seemingly peculiar socio- and geopolitical times.
